Their practical quality means they are retained and keep working long after your campaign has finished. With so much choice, where do you start? Below are some factors you may wish to consider. 1| RECIPIENT Ensure that the pen you choose matches your target audience - an executive will not always appreciate the same pen as a student. We have styles to fit everyone and everything, from basic but brilliant ball pens to luxury finish rollers and recycled eco sets. 6| PRINT SIZE Logos need to be reduced in size to fit print areas. Therefore highly detailed logos may affect the print clarity. Also strap lines/ contact details etc will take up more space than a logo. To include more info look to a pen with a large print area to the barrel. 2| BUDGET Consider your budget and quantity required. If your promotion may be repeated, we provide discounts for larger quantities. Prices include a one colour print (unless otherwise stated). Gift box prices are plain, set up and carriage costs are extra. 7| PRINT COLOURS Each print colour adds additional costs, so if colour is priority, we advise opting for a coloured body with a neutral print. We can also colour match using Pantone® or even match corporate colours from a letterhead. All this is available at no additional cost. 3| PEN STYLE There are many pen styles available; ball pens, rollerballs, pencils, click action and twist. Bear in mind where the pens are being given away – a click action pen may not always be the best choice for a conference! 8| ARTWORK We accept artwork in pdf or eps formats, however if you require artwork services we are more than happy to help (additional charges apply so please ask for a quotation). Before production you will receive a visual showing how your finished pen will look. 4| PEN COLOUR Think about how your corporate or brand colours will work with the colour of the pen. A dark blue logo on a black pen will be difficult to see, however on a white pen it would work perfectly. We are always on hand with expert advise if you need it. 9| PACKAGING Presenting your pen in a gift box can add value to the promotion. We have several options with different finishes, shapes, materials and sizes available. Do bear in mind that boxes take up more room and this might need to be considered when thinking about storage. 5| PEN SIZE Some pens are bulbous in shape and others have rubber grips. This needs to be taken into account if the pen is to be slotted into a folder or a pen loop. If you are in doubt whether a pen will fit you can request a sample free of charge. 10| DELIVERY Consider when you require your pens to be delivered as production times vary depending on the pen. Many models are available on express services and some can be turned around in 48 hours, however this may incur additional costs.
