Budget Take into account your budget and the quantity needed. Additionally, consider whether the promotion might be repeated later in the year. Our prices include a one colour print unless specified otherwise. Please note that giftbox prices are separate, and there are additional costs for setup and carriage. Pen Style Numerous pen styles are at your disposal, including ballpoint pens, rollerballs, pencils, click-action, and twist pens. It’s essential to consider the context of the pen distribution. Pen Colour Consider how your corporate or brand colours will harmonise with the pen’s colour. A dark blue logo may pose visibility challenges on a black pen, whereas it would stand out beautifully on a white pen. Pen Size Certain pens have a rounded or bulbous shape, while others come with rubber grips. This consideration is crucial if you intend to fit the pen into a folder or a pen loop. If you are in doubt whether a pen will fit you can request a sample free of charge. Print Sizing Contemplate the content you wish to include on your pen, a strapline or contact details require more space compared to a logo. If you plan to incorporate a substantial amount of information, opt for a pen with a larger print area. Keep in mind that your logo will need to be scaled down to fit the designated print area. Therefore, if your logo contains intricate details, it may impact the overall print clarity. Print Colour Choosing more print colours will increase the cost. If colour is essential, consider selecting a pen with a coloured body and a neutral print, like white or silver. Additionally, we offer precise colour matching options, using Pantone® references or matching to your letterhead or compliment slip for a seamless look. Artwork We require artwork in a PDF or EPS format, If not, we can offer an artwork re-drawing service, which comes at an additional cost. Rest assured, before moving to the production phase, you will always receive a visual representation of how your final pen will appear. Delivery Think about your delivery timeline, as production times can differ based on the pen model. Several models offer express services, and some can be ready within 48 hours, though this may involve extra charges. Packaging Enhancing your promotional pen with a gift box can elevate its perceived value. Various gift box choices are at your disposal, featuring diverse finishes, shapes, materials, and sizes. Keep in mind that these boxes occupy additional space, which should be taken into account when contemplating storage solutions. To reduce your carbon footprint even further, look out for European made models. Pen barrels can be crafted from a variety of materials, but utilising the tensile strength of recycled cardboard offers a durable option that functions effectively as a barrel while naturally composting within a relatively short time. Recycled cardboard can eventually be down cycled and repurposed for use in products like clothing. The wood we use in our pens is from the ‘Birch’ family and is a natural product that is biodegradable from a natural source and helps reduce the use of traditional metal or oil based plastics. PET plastic is extensively employed in producing water bottles and holds the distinction of being the most commonly recycled plastic. Our RPET is sourced from recycled water bottles and can undergo recycling once more – in fact, RPET can be recycled up to 10 times! Bamboo is a natural product that is biodegradable and is cultivated without the use of pesticides and a less water than other ‘crops’. We use Bamboo from natural sources to create barrels that are both attractive and durable. Environmentally conscious pens skillfully manufactured using recycled aluminum cans for the body, some of the plastic trims are crafted from recycled PET, which is from discarded water bottles. Cork is naturalally biodegradable and recyclable. If discarded, cork naturally decomposes without releasing harmful toxins or pollutants. Cork can be recycled and reused extending its lifecycle and reducing waste. The wheat plastic used in our pens is a combination of traditional plastic and plastic derived from wheat straw waste. Typically regarded as agricultural waste, this straw can be blended with traditional plastics to create pen components, reducing reliance on oil-based plastics. Carefully crafted from recycled coffee ground waste, this approach reduces dependence on oil based plastic materials, offering a practical solution that repurposes natural waste.
